Mercury GSE has announced the appointment of Joseph Davis to the newly created position of vice president of customer experience.
In this strategic role, Davis will be responsible for leading customer-centric initiatives designed to enhance Mercury GSE’s service model, drive account growth, and further elevate the customer experience across the commercial aviation industry.
This includes deepening relationships with passenger and cargo airlines, MRO providers, and ground handling operators.
Bob Travis, president of Mercury GSE said: “At Mercury GSE, our customers come first—and the relationship we have with each client is what drives our success.
“With Joe’s experience and vision, we’re taking a big step forward in ensuring that every interaction with Mercury reflects the best our industry has to offer.”
Davis brings nearly a decade of experience from Oshkosh AeroTech, where he most recently served as a Senior Sales Account Manager, helping to grow and support a global customer base.
He holds an Associate’s Degree in Specialized Technology from the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA)—both from Columbia Southern University.
This combination of technical training and business leadership equips him with a unique mix of hands-on expertise and strategic acumen.
Davis said: “I’m honored to join a team that’s redefining what responsive, high-performance GSE support looks like.
“As the industry evolves, Mercury’s commitment to preventative maintenance, 24/7 support, and tailored leasing solutions makes this an exciting time to drive customer growth and retention.”
