

Mercury GSE is happy to congratulate current CFO, Jon Grund, on his retirement and welcome in our newly appointed CFO, Robert Willett, who has joined Mercury GSE as Chief Financial Officer. Current/Existing CFO Jon Grund will soon be happily entering his next phase in life as a retiree and will work closely with Rob during his first few weeks to facilitate the transition.Rob comes to us with a strong accounting and finance background that spans across public accounting, consumer products, and marine cargo transport industries.
Robert most recently held the role of Chief Financial Officer for Nautilus International Holding Corp, where he led the finance and accounting teams. His background also includes senior finance and accounting management roles within Intuit (formerly DocStoc), Toms Shoes, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Robert earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill; he also holds a CPA license in Kentucky and California.
Mercury GSE today announced that the company will be opening a new operations and support facility in the eastern United States in 2024.

This morning, Mercury GSE was honored to take part in Delta Air Lines’ annual Jet Drag at Delta TechOps Hangar 10 in Atlanta—joining forces as part of the GSE industry’s Batt Bunnies team to help raise critical funds for the American Cancer Society. For those unfamiliar, Jet Drag brings together teams of 25 to pull a 255,000-pound Boeing 757 in a tug-of-war style challenge—all for a cause far bigger than competition.
