

Mercury GSE has announced the appointment of Karla Harrington as the new Vice President of Leasing Services.
She brings more than a decade of experience in ground support equipment leasing, asset management, and customer partnership development.
Harrington is widely recognised within the industry for her expertise in leasing and her commitment to building long-term customer relationships. She is known for a collaborative approach that supports complex operational requirements.
Prior to joining Mercury, Harrington led leasing programmes for major GSE organisations, managing multi-market fleets and overseeing asset lifecycle planning. Her work involved close collaboration with airlines, cargo handlers, and fixed-base operators (FBOs) to deliver tailored solutions.
Her experience spans both domestic and international markets, providing her with a strong understanding of global operational needs and the evolving demands of ground handling.
Beyond her professional achievements, Harrington plays an active role in promoting diversity within the sector. She is a prominent advocate through Women of GSE, where she supports networking, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for women in the industry. Her efforts have helped raise visibility and foster career growth across the ground support community.
