Enhancing Passenger Comfort and Efficiency: Mercury's Cutting-Edge Aircraft Preconditioned (PCA) Solutions

Airport tarmacs can be unforgiving, with extreme temperature shifts between searing temperatures in the summer to the frigid cold in the winter.

To provide the most comfortable climate conditions inside the plane, whether it be heating, cooling, or dehumidifying, Mercury GSE offers an extensive line of aircraft preconditioned (PCA) mobile units delivering exceptional performance for maximum comfort.

Mercury's PCA line includes air conditioner mobile units from top industry brands including the JBT Jet Aire M-60 and TLD models including the ACU-302,802,804 and the ACU-808-DUP 150-Ton Air Conditioning Unit.

Recognizing that more customers are seeking to shift from shorter rental stints to longer term solutions for interflight temperature management, Mercury offers attractive leasing terms year for year-round placement.

Having these units in place will better prepare your fleet ahead of incremental weather conditions and provide savings in downtime, shipping time and costs to ultimately lower operating costs.

TLD ACU-802-H

The ACU-802-H Series Air Conditioning/Heating units are engineered to deliver peak passenger comfort within a diverse array of aircraft platforms. Available in an extensive range of configurations, these units are meticulously designed to satisfy the exacting demands of aircraft operators, regardless of fleet scale or local environmental variables. Notably, they employ R-134a refrigerant, ensuring an ecologically responsible footprint, with no adverse impact on the atmospheric ozone layer.

These units feature an intricately designed vapor cycle refrigeration system. Additionally, for operators necessitating heating capabilities, an optional reverse-cycle "heat pump" system is offered. The seamless transition between operational modes is effortlessly achieved through the straightforward actuation of a toggle switch.

TLD-ACU-804-H

The TLD ACU-804 Series Air Conditioning/Heating units represents a comprehensive range of self-contained, highly portable air conditioning/heating units meticulously engineered to meet the needs of single-connection aircraft worldwide. With ample capacity to efficiently establish and sustain comfortable cabin temperatures, the ACU-804 is adaptable to narrow and medium-bodied aircraft, regardless of the prevailing climate.

Distinguished by its straightforward yet robust design, this system integrates a diesel engine directly linked to both the refrigeration compressor and blower, showcasing the unique "TLD Direct Drive" technology. A hydraulically driven condenser fan efficiently dissipates waste heat in an upward direction, rendering it impervious to performance fluctuations caused by variable wind conditions while significantly reducing heat and noise emissions within the immediate ramp vicinity.

JBT JetAire M-60-H

JBT's JetAire M60 presents a mobile, diesel-powered air conditioning / heating solution tailored to meet the demands of regional and narrow-body aircraft. This compact, dependable, and high-performance system not only enhances cost-efficiency but also elevates passenger comfort, boasts user-friendly operation, and is meticulously engineered for versatile applications.
