Last Week, Mercury GSE was honored to attend the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Sothern California Logistics Center (SCLC) in Victorville, CA.
For three decades, SCLC has been a cornerstone of logistics innovation and regional growth in the Victor Valley in Southern California, serving as a vital hub for the aviation and aerospace industries.
As a key provider of ground support equipment onsite, Mercury GSE is proud to support facilities like SCLC in their mission to achieve excellence and innovation. Events like this highlight the importance of collaboration and reinforce our commitment to delivering the right equipment and unmatched support to meet the demands of dynamic logistics hubs.
We were thrilled to celebrate alongside esteemed partners such as 10 Tanker Air Carrier, GE Aerospace, Boeing, ComAv, and many others. A true highlight of the day was seeing 10 Tanker’s converted DC-10 Air Carrier up close—an engineering marvel capable of delivering 9,400 gallons of fire retardant within 8 seconds and covering up to a mile in fire-fighting efforts.
Adding to the excitement was a glimpse of a Boeing 767 undergoing conversion from passenger to cargo use, showcasing the innovative transformation driving the industry forward.
Congratulations to the SCLC team on 30 incredible years! Here’s to continued growth and future success.

With the help of several dozen volunteers, local and regional shelters, and members of the aviation community — including Jet Aviation, Alpine Air Express, and their teams — Wings of Rescue executed a coordinated triple-flight rescue mission, transporting dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters to communities with available capacity. The mission included one aircraft departing Florida and two flights lifting off from Van Nuys headed to the Chicago area, New York, and Delaware.
