Mercury GSE was excited to provide support and assistance, including deploying a Textron GSE TUG UV2 electric baggage tractor, during the successful operational demonstration of Universal Hydrogen Co.'s AmpCart H2 product at Hawthorne, CA Airport.
The collaboration between Universal Hydrogen Company and Oshkosh AeroTech marks a significant milestone in decarbonizing airport ground operations. With a targeted deployment by the end of 2024, the AmpCart H2 addresses the pressing need for charging infrastructure for electric ground support equipment (GSE) at airports, thanks to Universal Hydrogen's innovative modular fueling technology. This solution eliminates the requirement for purpose-built hydrogen fueling infrastructure, making every airport hydrogen-ready and optimizing GSE operations from small regional hubs to major airports.
We're proud to have been part of this demonstration, witnessing the capabilities of the AmpCart H2 to industry leaders, including representatives from DHL, American Airlines, and others. Stay tuned for more updates on how Mercury GSE is providing a supporting role in advancing decarbonization efforts within the aviation ecosystem.
Last Week, Mercury GSE was honored to attend the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Sothern California Logistics Center (SCLC) in Victorville, CA.For three decades, SCLC has been a cornerstone of logistics innovation and regional growth in the Victor Valley in Southern California, serving as a vital hub for the aviation and aerospace industries.
